Count Your Blessings

Hey guys, TGIF woot! woot! Well its been a busy 2 weeks I might add. Sorry I missed you guys last week, just be dealing with some challenges. I’m working on a schedule to balance work and blogging. In the coming months I will be more consistent. Stay tune…

So here’s the lineup from this week:

School is back in session, well at least for the teachers. In my area, schools reopen during the month of August, however this was a new twist for teachers this year. We usually report to work in September, but not this year. We had workshops to attend, very informative approaches to support social/emotional development of preschoolers. Plus, information about evaluations and tools we can use in the classroom to enhance classroom management. Every year I want to walk in with a clear, peaceful, and positive attitude. One area I wish to work on is ignoring the gossiping and rumors happening in any workplace. I just want to be humble, cordial, and positive with my colleagues. Plus, not to stress over little or big things, I have no control over. Give it over to God and allow him to handle it.

Secondly, my fiancè and I are really enjoying the series from our church (Liquid Church), “Crazy thing called Love”. Check it out on their website! An awesome message for couples, relationships, and even single people. We dive deep into what women and men think in relationships. How to strengthen communication, understanding, and differences between love and respect. The bible has so much information to prosper in your relationship, defining each other’s role. My fiancé enjoys the pastor and would love to attend church again. I’m praying for prosperity, growth, and understanding as we continue to move in Gods direction. Each of us has a blueprint that God has designed. I only ask for the Holy Spirit to guide us towards our destiny.

Lastly, God has asked me to serve others in need. Whether coworkers, friends, family, or strangers. Practice the discernment between doing the work for others versus just listening, without always giving advice. I’ve helped my coworker/ new bestie with transportation to our workshops, picking her children up, and just spending quality time together. Welcoming the new coworkers, offering tips, listening, and just sharing a laugh. It feels great when you do good deeds, Godly deeds without seeking or expecting something in return. I want to remember God rewards all of our deeds. I thank him for giving me the gift to help and serve others, selflessly.
