Highlights of 2017

Christmas time has pass. Soon we’ll have to say goodbye to 2017. Before we part ways 2017, what did I learn? 🤔

My Godfidence increased this year, more than ever before. I find myself diving in further to heed Gods promises over my life. Asking for his guidance and voice to guide me in the next chapter of my life. Meditating on becoming obedient to God and his will. Exposing the holes in my life, where I am not being faithful to God. Accepting the truth about my mistakes, learning, and growing.

Learning more about my womanhood and the responsibilities we face. Being a woman is the most INCREDIBLE Gift. I am proud to be mold by Gods perfect image. We are all daughters of the Most High God, crowned with his glory. We should be an example of confidence, resilience, and supporters of one another. Our newfound power has lead to a worldwide stance against predators of sexual assaults. Shining the light of woman no longer being the prey, to such disrespect. I am grateful to have strong examples of woman in my life!

I took the leap in creating this blog, because I wanted to reclaim the oxygen I’ve been missing. Writing is in my DNA, reading is my escapism, and found a new family. I appreciate all of your support. I’m learning so much and feel bless knowing I can share my creativity with you. I only wish to encourage others to be the best version of themselves as God has designed. This is completely out of my comfort zone. I’m really a shy person (although it’s masked behind my body language), I prefer to stay behind the scenes. I’m an introvert. I enjoy my privacy, great asset, but can have drawbacks. Having the confidence to take on this adventure has been scary, but inspirational. I thank you all, my family, friends, and God for supporting my journey.

Am I ready to take on 2018? Honestly no, because I’m afraid of the unknown. However, I don’t want to run from my fears, but rather face them. I want to meet you 2018, I feel God will be there holding my hand as we enter into a new year. I believe God has some huge, unexpected blessings to come. Although, the enemy still reminds me of the uncertainty, worries, fears, and doubts. But God says,

Proverbs 3:5-6 – Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

Ephesians 6:10-11 – Be strong with the Lord’s mighty power. Put on all of God’s armour so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies and tricks of the devil.

Isaiah 41:10– Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.

Matthew 7:7-8– Ask, and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

There’s no greater weapon to use against the enemy then Gods word. I’m going to put on His armor and win the battle over then enemy. I am always reminded I will never be perfect to men’s eyes, but perfect to God. I am a work in progress and I welcome the transformation I will endure in 2018. It’s time to become the women I was destined to become.
