In the Wilderness

The Wilderness….Are you ready to walk through?

You will not be alone.

“Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, left the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, where for forty days he was tempted by the devil. He ate nothing during those days, and at the end of them was hungry.” – Luke 4:1-2

Break free from the power of the enemy…… Break free from the chains……. Break free from the prison.

Remove the shame, the doubts, the fears, the hatred, the abandonment, the victim mentality, the bitterness, the resentment, the judgement, its Time to Heal, Forgive, step into your God given Destiny.

Are you ready to submit to the LORD, or the world?

Journey into the wilderness, no matter how daunting, intimidating, dreadful, scary, uncomfortable, and distasteful it will be. The Holy Spirit will walk with you along the way.

The Journey

Routinely reading scriptures, listening to messages, and occasionally attending church, had no sustainable meaning, no depth. Faith felt just like it was waning. Experience a lot of confusion, indecisiveness, no discipline, and I wanted to be the one in control. Sadly, I put God in a box, choosing to force the blessings to happen. God, choose to sit back and wait on me. I pushed God aside to walk alone.

The enemy was allow to play a role in my life. He clouded my mind with negativity. The enemy had access through the front and back doors of my mind.  He was cunning and deceiving.

“The thief comes only to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.” -John 10:10

He kept me in bondage. I thought, we gotten past, the past. Unknowingly, I was half in and half out of the prison. His lies, schemes, and deception was lodged deep within my subconscious. At first I couldn’t see it in the way I reacted in certain situations. I just couldn’t see the truth. With the help of the Fast, prayer, and bible study, it helps to bring all of the truth to the surface.

“I have come that you may have life, and have it abundantly.” -John 10:10

Literally, Jesus stepped in with a brilliant light, said “Daughter, Stop! This is enough! I cannot bear to see you fall, when you are Worthy.” Jesus took me by the hand and lead me back to the Heavenly FatherIt was time to stop fighting the battles. My plans were failing. I couldn’t do it alone.

I’ve been stumbling over the same blocks. Last year, God took his time to try to reform my mind, but I was blinded by others approval. God created me to be whole (cup runneth over), but more work needs to be done. I have a purpose to fulfill, but I can’t do it alone. We are not made to be alone. I need the only resource God could give. A prayer plan and the Bible (Living Water). His words would be the source to rebuild my life. It was about time, I sat down and gave it my full attention. But where do I begin?

“I will put my spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statues, and you will keep My judgements and do them.” -Ezekiel 36:27

It was time for a battle strategy, prayer, fasting, and scriptures. Hit the enemy with the weapons of Gods word, my armor. It was time to awaken the spiritual warrior. It was time to go to war.

Here I began, the walk into. the WILDERNESS!
