My Answers:

1.What has the year 2018 been like for you so far?

This is the year, I gave God permission to enter my heart and tear down the barriers, heal my scars, and change me. Many years I sort to be set free and now I’m learning to live free.

“Whom the son sets free, is free indeed.”-John 8:36

2.What’s one advice you wish someone had given you?

How to create healthy boundaries and setup core values as a woman of worth. I am learning now to create healthy boundaries when it concerns the matters of the heart. While learning my identity in Christ.

3.Whats your favorite scripture and why?

I have 4 verses that I pray daily, but I can narrow them to 2 verses:

Proverbs 31:25

John 10:10

The reason I choose these 2 verses because they have pulled me out of the ashes of turbulence. I walked away from a relationship, that would have destroyed my physical and mental health. Jesus rescued me. I give God my life.

4.If you had to speak about yourself in 5 sentences, what would you say?

5.Why do you blog, especially the kind of content you write on?

Years prior, I met a muse. He inspired me to write. I began writing what I had bottled up inside,  because no one else could understand my pain and loneliness. My family couldn’t understand me, so I began writing. I would let my muse read some of my materials. He understand my heart more than anyone. (Looking back now, I think God sent him to guide my walk into Christ)

I lost the desire to write after my first relationship ended, lots of transitions happened at home, and my faith was wavering. I didn’t know who I was, I fell in line with what others thought I “should” become. I never identify with who I was in Christ, a lost sheep.

Fast-forward, I started to dig deeper into my spirituality. Being lead by God to create this blog and reignite my passion to write. Originally, I wanted to post content related to beauty, food, and my favorite hobbies, but now I feel its spirit-lead. I’m very passionate about sharing biblical verses, scriptures, or quotes to help encourage others. I like to talk about real topics that affect people. More like transparency, somewhat!

It would seem God decided to take over my blog. I’m happy to oblige in doing His Will.
