Good Morning,
I want us to take a look at the book of Psalms, a popular chapter in the bible. Great scriptures to armor up in the morning. Many times you’ll hear someone recite one of the verses. I am sure you have heard this one, in particular. Before I was saved (reborn into Christianity), my aunt would always suggest to read Psalm 91. When I did, it was not with a receiving heart and no idea about God. Now, as a born again Christian, I have open my heart to receive the word and application.
When you choose to run towards God, you choose to surrender and trust him. He is not far way, in fact he awaits your arrival. God has already prepared a room in his house for you. He has made special accommodations when you arrive. God receives us with open arms.
He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.
Once you are saved, your spirit elevates and exposed. It is through our spirit we learn and witness Gods protection. He is Almighty God, who will lift you high above the enemies attack. This protection is impenetrable against the enemy. You are covered under the wings of God, he is the shield and the rampart.
I looked up the word rampart in the dictionary.
Rampart means a protective barrier.
God has you inside a spiritual barrier to deflect the enemy from finding you. The enemy attacks from all sides, trying to breakthrough. There is no opening where the enemy can find. The enemy is frightened by the barrier, for he can’t find you. He knows God has full access to you. There is no way to stop God when he has us covered.
Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge;
The protection holds as we keep building a deeper trust in God. Watch as the enemy begin to crumble. None of the residual from the battle will weaken the protection. You will witness the light of God smother the darkness. For extra security, God has placed additional warriors in place to cover you. He has you surrounded, by his angels. Many you may not have known were assign to your protection detail. 💪🏽🙏🏼
A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.
If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent.
For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
God made all of creation in the world, but gave us the ability to subdue them. God’s unfailing love for his children, cannot be stripped away. No matter what we have done, when we surrender to him, the love pours out. There’s power in the name, a whisper can draw Gods attention. God rushes down to rescue us. In him we find everlasting life.
I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.
We come out on the side of victory, for all those who call on the name of the Father and the Son.
Only with complete surrender and a burning love for the Father, will we be surrounded by protection.
