So many times I wanted to reach out to you.
But I remember the last words you said,
So many times I wanted to converse with you.
But I remember the last words you said,
So many times I wanted to stay up, write back and forth with you.
But I remember the last words you said,
So many times I wanted to read the words play off the screen.
But I remember the last words you said,
So many times I wanted to dance ideas with you.
But I remember the last words you said
I remember the last words you said, “I am so drawn to you”.
I remember those last words and how they felt.
I remember those last words, as I scroll back through history.
I remember those last words cross boundaries.
I remembered, I’m not that kind of women to enter forbidden territories.
There is nothing left for me to do,
only one option I had to choose.
Hit delete and destroy the memories of you.
