After Thanksgiving

Slow and steady

Get up, get ready

Body feels so heavy

Is it time for work

The rush against traffic

The crowd is an overload effect

I don’t like this day,

the sales of Black Friday

In my bed is where I want to stay

Is it worth it

I like to dispute

“Hello, I’m not coming in today.”

*coughs*

“I need time to rest.

Tomorrow, I’ll be there at best.

I won’t protest.”
