These are a few things I’m careful to be aware of. Again, we all evolve and adjust to whatever comes our way. Nothing in life is definite. Life isn’t finite, shifts happen and sometimes it happens to be our turn to move. What I am doing more now, moving forward is not on my to-do-list, resolutions, or goals.
I’m going to focus on God. What is His plan for me? A recent message from church gave me an entire different perspective on life. The Pastor said, we’re so focused on the destination, and not listening to Gods directions. Basically, meaning we’re tripping over all these potholes to reach the final destination and never seem to get any where closer to it. We’re resisting Gods navigation, His software is never outdated. God is always present and functional, why should we deviate from His map? He’s the one to sketch the blueprints, He travel ahead to clear a path for us to walk, and yet we take our own course.
I don’t know about you, but I’m done tripping over the potholes and hitting every detour. This year, invite God to make your crooked paths straight and fix your eyes on the map God design, find the arrow that says, “You Are Here” and listen when He says “Your journey begins here”. The moment you take a step forward, Jesus appears as your guide. No matter how hard bumpy the roads become or the harsh weather. Jesus isn’t leaving you unless you let the distractions pull you off track. Then you’ll probably end up stuck in the wilderness for a while, circling the promise land like the Israelites did. I’m sure you don’t want that. 😅
Don’t forget this is the same Jesus with Daniel and the others in the lions den and in the inferno protecting them from the flames. No one was harmed in the fire! Wherever you go, God promises to stay with you and endure it with you. Emmanuel! Claim this truth: God is with me! You’ll be grateful you did it His way. Don’t trust me, trust the past you left behind. Look, how far you’ve come when God entered your life. He did it before, He will do it again. In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen! 🙏🏼
Swallow your pride. Be patient. Believe. Trust. Allow Faith to carry you through. Gods got this! You can do it! 🙌🏼
