My Strength comes from….

Sometimes,

We’re not strong

Not confident.

Not brave.

We can’t hide behind a smile.

Sometimes,

We feel anxious

feel afraid

feel weak

We can’t get out of bed

Sometimes,

We bend but will not break

We fall

We stumble

But will not stay down

It rest heavy on our chest

Breath is shallow

Sometimes we are not ok

Some days, I can conquer the world; Other days, it takes me three hours to convince myself to bathe.

We are not made of steel. Acknowledge how you feel. Check in with your feelings. Today, you may not feel good. But I have two choices: stay down or find a way to get back up. You need support. People who will walk with you through this moment. It’s just that, a moment, temporarily. You need some comfort. Expose the truth and get to the root. You don’t have to walk alone. Jesus is here to rescue you.

A song of ascents. I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.

Psalm 121:1-2

Be honest with God.

Jesus, I need your help. Help me find my way back to You. I need your comfort and love to bind me up and take away my fears. Your word said, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Jesus surround me. I need to feel your presence all around me. God, I need your care package. I am making room for you to help me. I belong to You, God! Thank you for never leaving nor forsaken me.

In Jesus Name, Amen!

You, my dear friend are loved.

I am here for you.

I would love to hear from you. How are you feeling today?

  1. Very well written! Not a day is the same, there are lows and highs and accepting and embracing each emotion is what we must do! 🙂
