Simply happy

Spring in Bloom

Sometimes, the simplest or smallest things can make me smile. Especially, in obscure ways, which no one else seem to notice. I love hearing the birds chirp first thing in the morning. Maybe a little to loud, LOL! Nonetheless, I love to hear them sing and see them fly. It brings me comfort. They’re not concern about what’s happening in the world.

A delightful reminder God is still moving. The seasons are changing. The animals aren’t disturbed, they still flow the natural order. If they are not worried, why should we be. There’s not much we can do by worrying. Somethings are outside of our control, we have to find consolation in time of distress. Maybe worrying less and delight more. The splendor of the Lord is here, present. God isn’t ruled by fear nor wrath, but moved by increasing faith in the hearts of many.

God is moving among the people.

Here are two verses, in hopes to bring you comfort:

Psalms 126:5 Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy.

Nehemiah 8:10 The joy of the Lord is your strength.

I love the blue sky cascading off the branches.

Yesterday, my friends and I watched the production of JESUS from the theatre company, SIGHT and SOUND. An Easter weekend free event to celebrate the story of Jesus. What an incredible production. Bringing the bible to life on stage, brilliantly portrayed. Last year, I had the opportunity to see this live in Lancaster, PA. Although, Easter celebration went sitting on my couch, instead of being at church. God will use untraditional ways to influence people.

Jesus is a pioneer of salvation. Everytime, I read or hear His story, I feel encouraged, empowered. As a token of His love, dying on the cross, to bring us closer to God. Jesus unveiled the love story of The Father for His children (all of creation).

God loves the world, he wants His children back

Prayer:

Like the story of the father and the prodigal son. You wait patiently for our return. God, you using this season to win us back. The birds still sing of your love and your presence here on earth. God, I am confident you will see us through to the other side. While we endure this process, you’re awaken our spiritual senses. It’s no longer lying dormant. God, your name will constantly be in our mouth, singing like the birds of the air. Thank You for protection. Thank You for healing the world. Thank You for bringing us simple and small bits of happiness each day.

In Jesus Name, Amen!
