Get Up

Feel like sleeping in, forget the emails, phone calls, or google classroom. I don’t wanna! I’m putting in PTA!

Surely, I’m not the only one, especially being at home and working from home. Monday’s can feel like a drag.

Psalm 90:17 says, “Let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands for us”.

Allow time with God this morning be about how you can simply get up and start the day according to His plans. Don’t be afraid to call upon His strength to get you through today, heck even this week. You never know what is in store. God never gives us anything we can’t handle. We learn so much of ourselves when we do good works.

Do not consider your duties or responsibilities drudgery. Whatever your task, work at it heartily (from the soul), as something done for the Lord and not for men.

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, – Colossians 3:23

Don’t delay the task. Consider it a way to be proactive today and a great distraction from negativity. How about working on that project you’ve been putting off. Or start that business you always desired to build. Maybe your greatest accomplishment is clearing out the clutter piling up in the living room. No matter what the task is, God is in it with you. You are who you are for a reason and have the skillset to complete God’s work. He is giving you strength to do the assignment.

Have a prosperous week!
