Psalms 130:5 says, “I am counting on the Lord; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word.”
You can count on God. He will be there. He will always be right by your side. Fall into His gentle arms, they are sturdy and strong. He will uphold you.

When I was little, I’d begged my aunt to teach me to rollerblade. Of course, she would say No, (I was a clumsy kid. I would fall or bump into anything). I was always awkward with my body, no coordination, LOL! I was persistent in my pursuit to learn how to rollerblade. After I pester her, she finally gave in and decided to teach me. YES! Finally I could be like the cool kids. Since I knew how to roller skate, rollerblading would be a piece of cake.
Not! The slice didn’t go down smoothly. The lessons were frustrating and scary. I kept toppling over. The desire to learn to rollerblade slowly began to fade. I thought, “I’ll never be able to do this”. I didn’t seem to notice, how she never left my side. I could always count on my aunt to be there to help me get back up. She never gave up on me. Even though, I was losing hope. My aunt always knew I didn’t like to quit. I was too stubborn to ever quit. She was right, because the next day I’d always ask, “When can we practice, again?”
I could count on my aunt to be there for me. When I fell, she came to lift me up and lift my spirits up. She encourage me to never quit and patiently stood by my side. Our God is exactly the same with us, His children. Never far away. Ready to catch us. Encouraging and building our strength to persevere. He invented the “Trust Fall”. But we have to accept His invitation to help. We are not suppose to handle challenges on our own strength.
God knows you can’t go through it alone. He knows you have to overcome your fears and fight through your weakness. But we are never to do it alone. You can count on God to help get you through to the other side of victory. I thought the reward was rollerblading, but my reward was met throughout the process. I was transformed by that experience. I learn to be there for someone else, when they count on me. Pay it forward.
Father, when I fall I am so glad you are there to catch me. There are moments when I cannot get up. But I’m reminded you are right there, next to me. Ready to lift me up. It’ll take me time, but I am willing to let you catch me. No matter how many times I fall down, you are right there to help. I wait for your embrace. Guide me, show me how to overcome this challenge and be transformed throughout the process. Thank you for loving me.
In Jesus Name, Amen!

A sobering passage from your life. A framed story in which one should never give up when something is undertaken. You fall, you get up again. And if you believe in a God, he will be with you.
I enjoyed reading.
An excellent week
