Anything but Routine

It can be hard to know whether God has a plan for our lives. Out loud we say, “I trust Your plans”, but we tend to worry about the future. When thoughts plagued Gideon, God never gave up on him. Even though Gideon tried to explain his weakness. God listened patiently to Gideon’s concern. He couldn’t see what God was doing. Gideon tried to reason with God why He could not defeat the midianites. Gideon was limiting Gods capability to overcome the conflict. Gideon couldn’t get past his own weakness and placed the same standard on God. God doesn’t fit into our limitations. In fact, God will use our weakness to show His power. God will use people who deem themselves unworthy to fulfill a grandeur purpose.

“The LORD is with you, mighty warrior.” Judges 6:12

God is so much bigger than our anxiety. God has the keys to our future. He has already mapped out our entire lives. God strategically positions us in the right place at the right time, but it’s up to us to seize the opportunities all around us. In order to know His plans, we have to meet with Him daily. God sets divine appointments, but only we can keep the appointment. Establish a prayer routine and your life will be anything but routine.
